Built in the 1880s, Chelsea Hotel is famous for its notable residents and references in popular culture; it was once home to numerous writers, musicians, actors and artists. In 2011, this period building eventually closed its doors for renovations.
Located between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, the hotel is known for its red brick façade and distinctive floral iron balconies. The interior needed to be tastefully modernized to match this luxurious outer aesthetic.
