The Public Hotel is an Ian Schrager creation that dominates the crossroads of one the city’s most energetic and hip neighborhoods, a stone’s throw from a handful of the most talked about bars and restaurants in New York.
This five-star hotel with its famous 360-degree rooftop bar features designed zones for sleeping, relaxing, working and entertaining. Polished concrete, bamboo and bleached wood run throughout the interior.
Found within, and central to the texture of the décor, are custom sinks and faucets created by AF | New York. We worked with architects Herzog & de Meuron in conjunction with Ian Schrager to develop these fittings including the iconic 15-foot-long bespoke sinks for the public spaces.
